Cultura de género y subjetividad en del embarazo adolescente en un contexto de marginación y ruralidad

Resumen
En este trabajo se exponen resultados de la fase cualitativa de un estudio mixto sobre condiciones sociales asociadas al embarazo en adolescentes. El objetivo en esta etapa fue identificar las condicionantes subjetivas que experimentaron adolescentes embarazadas de una localidad rural de alta marginalidad en el estado mexicano de Puebla durante el cuarto trimestre de 2014. Se diseñó una guÃa de entrevista semiestructurada que exploró el plan de vida, los entornos social y familiar, relaciones sexoafectivas, reacciones sociales inter e intrapersonales desencadenadas por el embarazo, asà como otros eventos significativos en la resignificación del proyecto de vida. Se muestra su análisis destacando los principales fragmentos y su interpretación a partir de un conjunto mÃnimo de referentes conceptuales que contribuyen a la explicación de este fenómeno. La maternidad sigue siendo un elemento central en la vida de las mujeres entrevistadas, sin embargo resultó más importante el deseo de superación mediante el estudio y el mejoramiento de sus condiciones familiares de vida mediante el empleo. La cultura dominante de género influyó en el aprendizaje de modelos familiares y de relacionamiento entre géneros que influyó en la modificación del proyecto personal de las entrevistadas. Al mismo tiempo, la maternidad como atributo fundamental del rol femenino se impuso tanto en la priorización de sus metas, como en la posibilidad de recuperar la valoración social disminuida por el ejercicio de la sexualidad fuera del matrimonio.
Abstract
This paper shows the qualitative outcomes of a mixed-methodology study about the social conditions associated to adolescent pregnancy. The objective in this stage was to identify the subjective conditions experienced by pregnant adolescents in a highly marginalized rural town in the Mexican state of Puebla, during the four quarter of 2014. It was designed a semi-structured interview guide that explored interviewee´s life expectations, social and familiar environment, sexual-affective experiences, social, inter and intra personal reactions to the pregnancy, as well as other significant events that took part of their life project. The analysis highlights the main interviews fragments and their interpretation, trough a set of conceptual referents that contribute to the explanation of this phenomenon. The maternity is still a central element in the interviewee´s life; however, it was more important for them the desire of self-improvement by enrolling in education and by improving their family living trough employment. The dominant gender culture influenced their role familiar models learning as well as gender relations that contributed to the modification of their personal project. At the same time, the motherhood as a fundamental element of the feminine role was imposed both in prioritizing their goals, and in their possibilities to take back the social valuation diminished by the exercise of sexuality outside the marriage.
