Pescadoras de maxquil. Rasgos de empoderamiento ambiental en San Felipe, Yucatán

Resumen
el significado colectivo sobre los recursos marinos y la organización se estudió en la cooperativa Mujeres Trabajadoras del Mar (MTM) en el municipio de San Felipe, Yucatán. Las representaciones individuales y colectivas muestran el pensamiento de un grupo en la construcción de su realidad y
pueden permitir la autoconciencia, asà como la participación en sus procesos de empoderamiento. Durante la capacitación a mujeres pescadoras para el fortalecimiento individual y organizativo, se utilizaron las técnicas metodológicas
de entrevista abierta y redes semánticas naturales. Las concepciones que las pescadoras hacen sobre pesca y organización como objeto conocido de su entorno refleja la gama de significados expresados a partir de su lenguaje
cotidiano. Se definieron con ellas las palabras estÃmulo: maxquil (cangrejo araña) y cooperativa. Los resultados muestran diferencias para la primera palabra asociada con la obtención de dinero y con los temores para su consecución,
la segunda palabra mostró diferencias entre el trabajo y la obligación colectiva; las narrativas analizadas de manera cautelosa sugieren que el empoderamiento de las pescadoras puede influir en el sentido de seguridad para el manejo de recursos pesqueros y la visión de futuro para el fortalecimiento de la organización.
Abstract
The collective meaning of marine resources and organization in the cooperative Working Women of the Sea (MTM) were studied in the municipality of San Felipe, Yucatan. It is the individual and collective representations that show the thought of a group in the construction of their reality and can allow self-awareness as well as participation in their empowerment processes. During the training of fisherwomen for individual and organizational strengthening, methodologies of open interview (EA) and natural semantic networks (RSN) were used. The conceptions that fisherwomen have about fishing and organization as a known object of their environment, reflect the range of meanings expressed through their everyday language. The words stimulus: maxquil (spider crab) and cooperative were defined with them. The results show differences for the first word associated with obtaining money
and fears for its achievement while the second word showed differences between work and collective obligation. The narratives analyzed in a cautious way suggest that the empowerment of fisherwomen can influence the sense
of security for the management of fishery resources and the vision of future for the empowerment of the organization.
