Resumen
Desde 1991 inició un periodo de cambios en el orden mundial y en Europa. La Unión Europea intentó hegemonizar el espacio post-soviético, pero su capacidad militar siguió subordinada a la alianza militar transatlántica; Rusia adoptó una estrategia revisionista. La crisis de 2007-2008 alteraró el equilibrio económico mundial debido al ascenso de China y al declive relativo de Estados Unidos como lÃder mundial. Además, propició un periodo de inestabilidad caracterizado por movimientos antiglobalización y la llegada de Donald Trump a la presidencia de Estados Unidos con una agenda que busca restablecer la economÃa estadounidense y con una estrategia revisionista del orden mundial.
Abstract
Since 1991 a period of changes began in the world order and in Europe. The European Union tried to hegemonize the post-Soviet space, but its military capacity remained subordinated to the transatlantic military alliance; Russia adopted a revisionist strategy. The crisis of 2007-2008 altered the global economic balance due to the rise of China and the relative decline of the United States as a world leader. Furthermoren, it led to a period of instability characterized by antiglobalization movements and the arrival of Donald Trump to the presidency of the United States with an agenda that seeks to restore the US economy and a revisionist strategy in the world order.
