El artÃculo analiza los elementos más significativos del momento polÃtico relacionado con la sucesión presidencial de 2018, partiendo de la larga crisis del Estado que no encuentra
salida, la degradación de la vida nacional y la pérdida de legitimidad de las instituciones estatales. Estudia las diversas etapas del proceso electoral, el sentido y resultado de las candidaturas independientes, la insólita irrupción de la candidata indÃgena apoyada por el EZLN y el Congreso Nacional IndÃgena (CNI), las razones del triunfo del candidato de la coalición Juntos Haremos Historia, asà como la transición que se abre por el cambio de gobierno y
las perspectivas de la presidencia de Andrés Manuel López Obrador, quien va delineando un programa que parece cambiar sus propuestas originales. En fin, se reflexiona sobre un
posible cambio del régimen autoritario o la continuación del mismo, asà como acerca de las alternativas no institucionales que emergen de la sociedad mexicana.
Abstract
The article analyzes the most significant elements of the political moment related to the presidential succession of 2018, starting from the long crisis of the State that finds no way out, the degradation of national life and the loss of legitimacy of state institutions. It studies the different stages of the electoral process, the meaning and result of the independent candidacies, the unusual emergence of the indigenous candidate supported by the EZLN and the Consejo Nacional IndÃgena (CNI), the reasons for the triumph of the candidate of the ‘Juntos Haremos HistoriaÂ’ coalition, as well as the transition that It is opened by the change
of government and the prospects of the presidency of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who is delineating a program that seems to change his original proposals. Finally, we reflect on
a possible change of the authoritarian regime or its continuation, as well as on the noninstitutional alternatives that emerge from Mexican society.
