Resumen
El Islam como religión y elemento motor de civilización para sus adeptos lo abarca todo en la vida de los musulmanes. Todos los actos de la vida están regidos de forma casi exclusiva por la religión islámica. En el Islam la relación del ser con Dios, el Único, es directa y no admire intermediario alguno; así, cada individuo es su propio sacerdote. Son violatorias de las reglas del Islam: el asociar el culto a Dios con el culto a otra divinidad, así como el practicar la brujería y otros procedimientos mágicos para influir en el curso de la vida, ya sea con propósitos benéficos o maléficos. La unicidad de Dios, el rechazo a la asociación con otra divinidad y a los intermediarios son los fundamentos de esta religión. Ahora bien, el Islam, al implantarse en las civilizaciones del África del Oeste que lo adoptaron, han tenido que encontrar formas de adaptación espiritual que para muchos no plantean problema de contradicción alguno. Sin embargo, para los intelectuales, el equilibrio entre religiosidad africana y el Islam no resulta tan fácil.
Abstract
The Islam as religion and motor element of civilization for its followers include everything in the life of the Muslims. All the acts oí the life are governed of almost exclusive form by the Islamic religion. In the Islam the relation of the being with God, the Only one, is direct and it does not admit intermediary some; thus, each individual is its own priest. They are violatorias of the rules of the Islam: associating the cult to God with the cult to another divinity, as well as practicing the magical! witchcraft and other procedures to influence in the course of the life, or with beneficial or maleficent intentions. The unicity of God, the rejection to the association with another divinity and the intermediaries is the foundations of this religion. However, the Islam, when being implanted in the civilizations of the Africa of the West that adopted it, has had to find forms of spiritual adaptation that for many they do not create contradiction problem some. Nevertheless, for the intellectuals, the balance between African religiosity and the Islam are not so easy.
