Resumen
Las canciones infantiles tradicionales siguen vigentes en nuestros dÃas, si bien tienen algunas de ellas un lejano origen, su difusión se ha visto ampliada en parte a través de los modernos medios de comunicación. Ellas constituyen una fuente de endoculturación en niños y niñas, utilizadas pedagógicamente en las escuelas, como distracción en la familia, y reproducidas a través de la industria discográfica. Sin embargo, pese a su importancia, sus mensajes y significados no han sido analizados hasta la fecha. Esto último es el objetivo que persigue este artÃculo, centrando dicho estudio en las imágenes sobre hombres y mujeres y las relaciones de género, que transportan las letras de las canciones y que se introyectan en la infancia.
Abstract
The traditional infantile songs are still effective in our days, although some of them have a distant origin, its diffusion has been extended partly through modern mass media. They pedagogically constitute a source of endoculturación in children, used in the schools, like distraction in the family and reproduced through the record industry. Nevertheless, in spite of their importance, their messages and meaning have not been analyzed to date. That is the objective of this article, centering the study on the images of men and women and the relations of gender that are transported by the letters of the songs introduced in childhood
