Resumen
La entrevista con Marcelino DÃaz de Jesús, ex diputado federal, economista náhuatl, dirigente del Consejo de Pueblos Nahuas del Alto Balsas Guerrero y miembro del Consejo Nacional IndÃgena de México, plantea cómo la educación indÃgena está ligada a una reforma integral del paÃs, un nuevo pacto federal y el reconocimiento que acabe con la exclusión de los indÃgenas.
Habla de la relación de la educación con las culturas indÃgena y mestiza; de la importancia de la formación de los maestros y la relación de igualdad entre las diversas culturas. Da ejemplos de la participación e importancia de la comunidad indÃgena en la educación de todos sus integrantes y la necesidad de convivir con dos culturas: la indÃgena y la mestiza.
Señala la lucha internacional de los pueblos indÃgenas por el reconocimiento de sus derechos.
Abstract
The interview whit a leader of the council of nahoas Population, the National Indians Council, and ex-member of the mexican parlament, Marcelino DÃaz. Explains hove the indians education is related to a global reform of the country, to a new federal agreement, and to their recognition, which should end the exclusion of native population.
Education is related to the native and the half/bred cultures, each culture must be on equal terms. The education and the vocational training of the native teachers is of great importance. Examples of the participation and importance of the native community in education of all itÂ’s members are given, so as reasons of necessity of coexistence of the native and the half-bred cultures.
The international struggle of the native populations for the recognition of their rights, is also explained.
