Resumen
En este trabajo se presenta la revisión sintetizada del proceso de paz entre Israel y la Organización para la Liberación de Palestina, que se inició con la firma de los Acuerdos de Oslo en septiembre de 1993, enfatizando en las razones de su fracaso. También se analiza la nueva Infantada –la que estalló en septiembre de 2000– que al mismo tiempo que representa el fin de las negociaciones palestinasisraelÃes, es la expresión de la reafirmación de las reivindicaciones más fundamentales del pueblo palestino: un estado independiente, incluida Jerusalén Este como su capital, y el regreso de los refugiados; peticiones que fueron eliminadas del proceso de paz.
Abstract
This paper presents a synthesized view of the peace process between Israel and the Organization for the Palestinian Liberation, which started with the signature of the Oslo agreements in September 1993, pointing out the reasons of its failure. It also analyzes the new Appendage - the one that started in September 2000- which at the same time represents the end of the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations and is the expression of the reaffirmation of the most fundamental recovery of the Palestinian people: an independent state including East Jerusalem as its capital city, and the return of the refugees; petitions which were eliminated in the peace process.
