Abstract
In this document I mention a series of elements in common that conform the environment and pave the way for the arise of the so called emergent markets, in particular to the imposition of the neo-liberal global model. Identify a series of concepts that must be taken into account to configure an emergent commercial opportunity as: opportunity, need, potential, strategic responses, the technological revolution as a layer of this process, and finally I mention the future as a variable. I also mention that the future of the emergent markets is marked by the neo-liberal model where the environmental changes have affected the development of different lines of production and new groups of consumers with specific and different needs, giving place to the appearance of new markets with an interesting potential in commercial terms, where the technological revolution, more complex every time by its own nature, has acted as a stimulus to the appearance of profitable opportunities in the market and also of new technology. Considering this, an emergent market is the product of the evolution of the economic, social and even cultural processes that characterize our time.
