Resumen
El autor busca advertir la relación entre las Cortes de Cádiz y el pensamiento político mexicano de la primera mitad del siglo XIX. Cómo trascendió el modelo político gaditano y cómo fue juzgado por la historiográfica mexicana de la época. Para ello, amén de explicar la importancia de las Cortes y su influjo hacia la modernidad, analiza las obras de Servando Teresa de Mier, Carlos Maria de Bustamante y Lucas Alamán.

Abstract
The author seeks to highlight the relationship between the Courts of Cadiz and Mexican Political thought in the first half of the XIX century. This includes the way that the Gadian political model trascended and how it was judged by Mexican historiography during this time. In order to explain the importance of the courts and its infillence on modernity, he analyzes the work of Servando Teresa de Mier, Carlos Maria Bustamante y Lucas Alaman.

Résumé
L'auteur souligne la relation entre les États Généraux de Cádiz et la pensée politique mexicaine de la première moitié du XIXe, la transcendance du modèle politique Gaditain et la façon dont il a été jugé par l'historiographie mexicaine de l'époque. Dans cette optique, l'importance des États Généraux et son influence dans la modernité sont expliqués, ainsi que les oeuvres de Servando Teresa de Mier, Carlos Maria de Bustamante et Lucas Alamán.
