Resumen
El autor de este artÃculo le asigna a Josefina Pla el papel de
fundadora de una corriente narrativa cuyos rasgos principales son la experimentación formal, la denuncia social y la protesta polÃtica– que caracteriza al cuento femenino paraguayo de la actualidad. En el artÃculo se analiza una parte de la producción cuentÃstica de tres autoras paraguayas, Dirma Pardo, Sara Karlik y Renée Ferrer, con el fin de exponer tanto las particularidades temáticas y estructurales que las distingue a cada una de ellas, asà como la manera en la que la influencia de Pla se materializa en sus relatos.
Abstract
In this article, the author regards Josefina Pla as the founder of a narrative mode that characterizes most of the short stories produced by Paraguayan female writers nowadays. The main
features of such narrative mode are formal experimentation, a tone of denunciation concerning social injustice and political criticism. The author analyzes some of the short stories written
by three Paraguayan women, Dirma Pardo, Sara Karlik y Renée Ferrer, with the intention of pointing out both their thematic and structural peculiarities and the way in which PlaÂ’s influence is present in their work.
