Resumen
La nueva concepción visual del cartel creada por los artistas plásticos en los años cincuenta en Polonia produjo el fenómeno de la Escuela polaca del cartel. Uno de los más importantes representantes de esta escuela es Henryk Tomaszewski: con su inconfundible línea, aparentemente torpe, su increíble sentido del humor y estilización poético-infantil.
La autora presenta una semblanza de la vida y la obra de este gran artista y maestro de varias generaciones de los diseñadores gráficos de todo el mundo; el padre del cartel polaco.
Abstract
The new visual conception of the poster created by the Polish artists in the fifties generated the phenomenon of the Polish Poster School. One of the greatest representatives of this school is Henryk Tomaszewski: with his peculiar linestyle, apparently clumsy, his incredible sense of humor and his poetic-childish stylization.
The author presents an overview of the life and work of this great artist and master of several generations of graphic designers all over the world: the father of the Polish poster.
