Resumen
La evolución de la computación gráfica y en
particular las tecnologÃas Computer Aided
Design and Drafting (CADD) y de presentación
han sido tan amplias que actualmente
son herramientas esenciales en cualquier
campo del conocimiento. La arquitectura
ha adoptado estas herramientas para la realización
de modelos arquitectónicos bidimensionales
y tridimensionales, asà como
de presentación de imágenes digitales
realistas, estáticas y dinámicas; sin embargo,
ya es tiempo de que la tecnologÃa
CADD en el campo de la arquitectura realice
una transición hacia un apoyo real al diseño
arquitectónico, incluyendo todas las variantes
que intervienen en el proceso de un
proyecto.
Abstract
The evolution of computer graphics,
specially the technologies of Computer
Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) and of
rendering have such progress that they are
now essential tools in almost any field of
knowledge. Architecture has adopted such
tools for the development of bi-dimensional
and tri-dimensional architectural
models, including presentation of staticand
dynamic realistic images. But it is
now time for the CADD technology applied
to architecture to make another transition
towards a real support to the architectural
design, including all the variables implied
in the design process.
