Arte y TIC: ¿Predominio de la técnica o la cognición?

Resumen
En el contexto actual de la producción artÃstica hay una importante inclusión de las TecnologÃas de Información y Comunicación (TIC). El arte digital, el net art, el arte sonoro y el bioarte son ejemplos de manifestaciones que han sido permeadas por las TIC, tanto en su proceso de producción como en su distribución y difusión. Dentro de dichas propuestas creativas, se halla un sector de artistas latinoamericanos que no basan su discurso artÃstico en la utilización de nuevas herramientas tecnológicas per se. Su objetivo es reconfigurar los modos de creación e integrar en sus repertorios temas crÃticos sociales y polÃticos de su contexto histórico.
Abstract
In the current context of artistic production there is an important inclusion of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). Digital art, net art, sound art and bio-art are examples of manifestations that have been influenced by ICTs, both in the process of production and distribution and diffusion . Within these creative proposals, there is a group of Latin American artists whose artistic discourse is not based in the use of new technological tools per se. Its objective is to reconfigure the ways in which art is created and to integrate into their repertoires social and political critical subjects of their historical context.
