Territorio y política son también ámbitos mediados por sus representaciones. Estas mediaciones se han industrializado y vuelto cada vez más dependientes de nuevas tecnologías. Mientras en la época de las grandes colonizaciones la cartografía científica fue la gran protagonista, hoy la imagen más visible de la globalización es la Red. Por ello, para explorar cómo estas mediaciones han cambiado a la par que cambia la distribución espacial del poder, propongo acceder a las nuevas interfaces gráficas de usuario como si fueran los mapas del siglo XXI que nos permitirán explorar las terrae incognitae del presente.

Territory and politics are also spheres mediated by representations. These mediations have become increasingly industrialized and more dependent on new technologies. At the time of the great colonies, scientific cartography was the main protagonist. Today the most visible image of globalization is the Internet. Therefore to explore how these mediations have changed alongside the changes in the spatial distribution of power, I propose an approach to the new graphic user interfaces as maps of the XXI century allowing us to explore the terrae incognitae of the present.
